who we are
Background
I got the idea to start the business after many years of working on my own hunting and competition firearms(IPSC, PPC and Action Pistol) as a matter of necessity and enjoy doing it. Guns don't have to be just black, blue or stainless. You should be able to have your gun looking the way you want it. This is one of the many things I like about Duracoat is that with over 300 colours and traditional finish replicators, there are many options.
I have over twenty five years of shooting experience as a competitor, an official and instructor at local, provincial/state, regional and national level competitions, so I take care to make sure the rules are followed in the work that I do. It has also given me a good understanding of what works and doesn't work for most people with regards to modifications or features.
On the hunting side of things I have been doing that for over 30 years and have seen the toll that the environment can take on firearms in hunting situations and storage between seasons. With Duracoat the issue of surface rust is greatly reduced on your treasured firearms while maintaining the look of a traditional finish.

Services
We offer refinishing, inspections, repair and cleanings as part of our services. We are also certified as a Glock, AR (and variants) and Remington 870 armorer. We are very familiar with 1911, Browning Hi-Power, CZ (and clones) and Revolver platforms. We wanted people to have options and customize exactly what their firearm should look like. We can make anything new to you again, make a competition gun stand out on the line, or blend it in for hunting.
Checkering
We are now also able to offer frame checkering in 20 lpi and 30 lpi. 40 lpi also available on request.
First Responders and Military
We offer a 10% discount on finishing projects for Firefighters, Paramedics, Corrections, Conservation Officers and Military Personnel.
Instructor Discounts
Training firearms can take a beating from heavy use on courses or club sign offs or PAL and RPAL courses. If you have some you want spruced up or better protected from the side effects of nervous students, let us know.

One or two colour pistol/revolver refinishing packages
Want that old school or traditional look with your own twist, we can do that as well. Starting from $180.
Rifle and Shotgun refinishing

Pistol frame checkering and refinishing
